The Healing Ministry
Mission Statement
'WE LISTEN, LOVE, AND PRAY FOR ALL THOSE WHO COME
SEEKING THE HEALING MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST.'
Public healing services are held weekly, along with 'Soaking Prayer.' (See our Worship Schedule for details.) Individual prayer sessions are available by appointment. Classes are available (School of Healing Prayer) for those who desire to learn more about healing prayer.
Retreats are available for groups, prayer teams, and caregivers. Guests who come to Christ the King Spiritual Life Center and the Healing Ministry will find God's healing love and grace as they draw close to Him through prayer and rest. We offer a sanctuary where those ill or injured in mind, body or spirit may come to seek healing.
Although we are a ministry of the Albany Episcopal Diocese, we welcome persons of all faiths. We are a lighthouse of hope, compassion and love.
The Healing Ministry is used in conjunction with the medical profession. We never suggest that anyone cease taking their medication or act contrary to the advice of their physician.
Healing may be sought for disease and injury, physical or emotional pain, memories or loss, generational concerns, depression, anger and despair. Scripture reminds us that our time on earth is finite and that we all will die. Thus 'healed' is not synonymous with 'cured'. When a healing does occur it may or may not include a cure.
The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. As our guest you will enjoy a quiet, gentle, caring environment where it is safe to receive God's healing love.
